John Gajan - Bass/Vocals

A native of Long Island, NY, John picked up his first bass at age 15 and hasn't looked back. Since moving to the Bay Area in 1988, he has been a formative member of local bands Lost Dog and Mostly Sonny and, most recently, has been a featured member of The Voltones since 2008. As a player, John honors the approach of "only playing what the song needs" which suits him well in covering Heartbreakers' bassists Ron Blair and Howie Epstein.
